Course Learning Outcomes
This course is designed to help you learn foundational laboratory techniques used to study and manipulate nucleic acids, primarily DNA. This is a hands-on laboratory course through which you will acquire personal experience in DNA electrophoresis, restriction digestion and ligation, bacterial transformation, DNA extraction, and purification, PCR, DNA recombination, expression, sequencing, and others.
