1. Apply close reading strategy in selected film texts.
2. Identify themes and motifs within the cultural & sociopolitical context of the film texts.
3. Frame interpretive analysis with appropriate theory and methods studied in class.
4. Identify functions and purposes of cinema in society studied in class.
