Course Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:

  • Demonstrate the basic skills of forehand & backhand groundstrokes, serve, return of serve, forehand & backhand volley, and overhead.
  • Demonstrate how to score and the basic rules of tennis.
  • Demonstrate basic patterns of play in both singles and doubles.
  • Explain the rules, court areas, and history, of tennis.
