Introduction to business analytics with a focus on data wrangling, data types, descriptive statistics and the use of in-demand spreadsheet and visualization tools, while also incorporating the use of generative AI to assist in data gathering, analysis, and decision-making across key business areas.

Course Learning Outcomes

Each student who passes this course will be able to do the following:

  1. Understand the foundational concepts of business analytics and key business functions.
  2. Apply data wrangling techniques and descriptive statistics to organize, interpret, and support data-driven decision-making.
  3. Develop proficiency in using spreadsheet and visualization tools and prompting generative AI models to assist.
