Learning Course Outcomes

Each student who passes this course will be able to do the following:

  • Secure an internship opportunity in the field of computer science with the guidance and approval of a faculty member.
  • Develop a learning plan in collaboration with a faculty member and on-site supervisor, outlining the objectives, tasks, and expected outcomes of the internship.
  • Apply computer science concepts, skills, and best practices to real-world projects and tasks during the internship.
  • Adapt to the professional environment, demonstrating effective communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
  • Reflect on the internship experience, identifying areas of growth, challenges encountered, and lessons learned.
  • Receive feedback from the on-site supervisor and faculty member, incorporating their guidance to improve performance and further develop professional skills.
  • Complete a final report or presentation detailing the internship experience, accomplishments, and acquired skills.
