Course Learning Outcomes
- Identify a research topic or problem in computer science, in collaboration with a faculty mentor.
- Develop a research plan, including objectives, methodology, and expected outcomes, under the guidance of the faculty mentor.
- Apply critical thinking, problem-solving, and technical skills to conduct research and collect data within the scope of the chosen topic.
- Analyze research findings, draw conclusions, and make recommendations based on the results.
- Communicate research findings effectively through written reports, presentations, or other appropriate means.
- Collaborate effectively with faculty mentors, peers, and other stakeholders involved in the research process.
- Reflect on the mentored research experience, identifying areas of growth, challenges encountered, and lessons learned.
