The learner will be provided with the information and support they need to learn skills for improving coaching abilities. Focus is placed on the principles of coaching, behavior, teaching, physical training, and management.

Course Learning Outcomes

Each student who passes this course will be able to do the following:

  1. Identify, describe, and demonstrate basic principles and various coaching styles and strategies.
  2. Develop a philosophy that serves as the foundation for their future coaching.

These outcomes will be demonstrated through verbal, written, and presentation work.
