(HHS 494) Career Research in Health and Human Science
Students will engage in scholarly research to investigate and analyze diverse career paths within the health and human sciences, examining current trends, educational requirements, and professional competencies across related disciplines. Students will explore educational and professional requirements, and evaluate how their personal interests, skills, and values align with opportunities in areas such as public health, healthcare, human development, and social services. The course emphasizes professional development through résumé building, networking, research, and reflection, preparing students to create a personalized career plan for future academic and professional success.
