This course provides students with an opportunity to conduct independent study on a specific topic within information technology. Topics and credit hours are to be determined in consultation with the instructor, allowing students to explore their interests in-depth and develop specialized knowledge and skills.

Each student who passes this course will be able to do the following:

  • Identify a specific area of interest within information technology, demonstrating a passion for learning and intellectual curiosity.

  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis on the chosen topic, demonstrating critical thinking skills and the ability to synthesize information from various sources.
  • Apply acquired knowledge and skills to real-world scenarios, demonstrating the ability to solve problems and implement effective solutions.
  • Develop effective written and oral communication skills to articulate the findings, insights, and conclusions drawn from the independent study.
