(IT 497R) Mentored Research

This course provides students with the opportunity to engage in supervised individual or group-mentored research in the field of information technology. Under the guidance of a faculty mentor, students will develop their research skills, collaborate with their peers, and gain valuable experience working on real-world projects.

Course Learning Outcomes

Each student who passes this course will be able to do the following:

  • Conduct supervised mentored research in the field of information technology, demonstrating a strong understanding of research methodologies, data analysis, and critical thinking skills.
  • Collaborate effectively with peers and faculty mentors to contribute to research projects, fostering teamwork and communication skills.
