The study of the functions of the human body during various acute and chronic exercise conditions.

Course Outcomes

Upon completing this course, students will be able to:

  • Demonstrate the ability to measure, explain, calculate and apply Isotonic (Dynamic) Strength, Isometric (Static) Strength, and Isokinetic Strength.
  • Demonstrate the ability to measure, explain, calculate and apply Sprinting -"Horizontal Power", Jumping - Vertical Power, Anaerobic Cycling, Anaerobic Stepping, Anaerobic Treadmill Running.
  • Demonstrate the ability to measure, explain, calculate and apply Aerobic Running, Jogging and Walking, Aerobic Stepping, and Aerobic Cycling.
