Course Outcomes
Upon completing this course, students will be able to:
- Demonstrate understanding and competency of nutrition information at a certification level and answers from the ISSN-SNS Study Guide Questions.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the role of nutrition in acute and chronic responses to exercise to accurately advocate nutritional strategies for peak performance for athletes and active people.
- Understand the importance of good nutrition to obtain good health and the promotion of disease prevention strategies for specific populations as they relate to sports nutrition.
