Course Learning Outcomes

  1. How to decolonize archaeology, cultural diversity, and how different cultures are affected by interpretations of the deep past.
  2. Learn about how archaeological method, theory and findings affects peoples’ perceptions of cultures and how to collaborate with communities will cultivate awareness and an interest in life-long learning.
  3. How to apply the anthropological theories they learn in ANTH 105 in practical ways if working in archaeology for long term cultural sustainability and preservation of the past.
