Course Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Students will be exposed to a conceptual framework within which the key financial decisions of a multinational firm can be analyzed. It will be an extension of some concepts learned previously and an opportunity to apply those in an international context.
- Apply the modeling skills and knowledge learned in prior finance classes and apply those in the context of a multinational operation.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the cultural impact on a company’s operating decisions.
- Communicate effectively regarding international operations performance to maximize return and to demonstrate control of these operations
- Demonstrate an understanding of the threats and risks inherent in venturing abroad when considering a company’s focus and operation plan.
