(HIST 192) Hawaiian Public and Local History

Applied history in Hawai’i with emphasis on service learning. Involves conducting research on and restoration of local historical sites, such as heiau (ancient sacred sites) and loko i’a (fishponds). May include visiting museums and archives and working on oral history projects.
