(MUSC 110R) Seasider Singers
The Seasider Singers invite students from around the globe—with and without prior experience—to be a part of an excellent choral experience that embraces a wide diversity of styles from around the world, both written and oral. Seasider Singers offers an education in the basics of singing technique and choral ensemble collaboration along with a fun experience, great camaraderie, and meaningful learning. The Seasider Singers prepare for one to two concerts each semester and perform for campus devotionals and other special events.

Course Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, students will develop technical and artistic skills, including:
- Critical listening skills (audiation).
- Basic sightreading.
- Understanding of general music terminology.
- Knowledge of music traditions from various regions of the world.
- Historical and cultural context for our repertoire.
- Effective use of diction, articulation, and vowel space.
- Applying the principles of healthy breathing and free tone production.
- Effective collaboration and group work.
