- Demonstrate an understanding of the science of Developmental Psychology, including basic terminology and theoretical knowledge of the field.
- Explain how knowledge is generated in the field of Developmental Psychology through the scientific method and the interpretation and evaluation of empirical data and developing theory.
- Think critically about development in physical characteristics, social behaviors, and cognition by analyzing assumptions and biases, and through considering alternative explanations.
- Apply knowledge regarding Developmental Psychology to both everyday observations.
