Course Learning Outcomes

By the end of the course, you will increase your knowledge and experience of how language is learned and taught by summarizing and reflecting on published and presented research in TESOL. You will strengthen your professional identity by attending and documenting participation in the TESOL international convention sessions and English language expo, applying for job interviews, and resume feedback through the TESOL Career Center. You will also apply what you learn from the convention to analyze how to capitalize on your strengths and improve on your weaknesses through presenting convention highlights and application resolutions in front of peers and faculty and submitting a summary and reflection report to two local magazines.
