Course Learning Outcomes
Upon completing this course, students will be able to:
- Become familiar with songs, styles, and artistic approaches across the broad spectrum of solo vocal music; especially in genres in which you are less familiar.
- Learn to analyze, prepare, and perform songs from each area.
- Discover the roots of contemporary genres.
- In every style/genre, explore: What is most important? What are the industry and audience expecting?
