Course Outcomes

1. To understand the diversity of the World literatures in English, particularly post-colonial work.
2. To analyze global texts as cultural productions rising out of specific historical, literary and cultural contexts and vice versa (that literary texts are created within specific political/cultural/historical situations).
3. To contribute to the ongoing discussion of World literatures in English through persuasive, evidence-driven literary/cultural analysis (papers).
