Students will be introduced to hierarchal concepts from chemistry, cellular biology, systemic biology, and physiology and anatomy to better understand and appreciate integrative human biology.

Course Learning Outcomes
Prior to the completion of this course, students will:
- Be able to explain the hierarchical relationship of chemistry, cells,
tissues, and organ systems. - Be able to explain the function of the ten human organ systems.
- Be able to explain the role of cell reproduction and human genetics as it relates to heredity.
- Be able to apply critical thinking and reasoning skills when confronted with complex integrative physiological processes and pathophysiology.
