An introduction to information technology including operating systems, hardware, software, cloud computing, networking, graphical and command-line user interfaces, utility programs, software integration, diagnostic techniques, and troubleshooting.

Course Learning Outcomes

Each student who passes this course will be able to do the following:

  • Understanding the many Information Technology devices and how to interact with them.
  • Understand at an introductory level Cloud Computing and the as a service model.
  • Interacting with common Operating Systems including Windows, Linux, Mac, Android, and IOS.
  • Have entry-level networking understanding sufficient for a home or small office.
  • Introduced to cyber security and staying safe in a connected world.
