Course Learning Outcomes
Each student who passes this course will be able to do the following:
- Understand and explain fundamental computer networking and telecommunication concepts, including communication protocols, routing processes, and network models.
- Examine and compare various physical networking topologies, technologies, media, and devices used in wired and wireless local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs).
- Utilize network management practices, hardware tools, and troubleshooting utilities to test network connectivity, improve network performance, and resolve common connectivity issues.
