(BIOL 350) General Ecology

A study of plant and animal interactions that determine the distribution and abundance of organisms.

Course Learning Outcomes

  1. Describe basic ecological concepts and models.
  2. Illustrate how those concepts are applied in nature by interpreting results of ecological data.
  3. Solve ecological problems in case studies.
  4. Analyze and evaluate real data from a local environment (Koloa on the Laie summit).
  5. Compile and present orally and in writing conclusions based on analysis of the data
