Course Learning Outcomes

Upon completing this course, students will be able to:

  1. Identify key traditions and forces that affect, create, and alter cultures through media and technology.
  2. Describe the roles of modernity, postmodernity, science, narrative, religion, war, and the mass-mediated distribution means of cultural products.
