Introduction to the history and theory of documentary film, with attention to significant film movements and cinematic innovations and the aesthetic and ethical choices documentary filmmakers face as they document the world. Students will participate in making a documentary short.
An opportunity to pursue subjects otherwise not offered by the program.

This course is designed for the non-swimmer. The purpose of this course is to help non-swimmers overcome fears they may have in the water and to help them to be safe and feel comfortable in and around water. True non-swimmers are those with no, or limited, swimming skills, who have difficulty putting their face in the water, have a fear of water, or who have had a near-drowning experience.
Course is designed for those students wanting to learn the basic dance skills of Tonga, Samoa, Tahiti and Fiji.
